Monday, February 1st, 2021—Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship elementary school welcomed virtual guest speaker, Dale McMillian Jr. as part of its 28 Speakers in 28 Days project. Dale spoke with the students in Mr. Romano’s class and shared valuable insight on the importance of education. Dale also shared with the students that it is important to do well in high school, how to select a college or university that will help you be successful, and shared a story about using the Positivity Project’s character trait of perseverance.
