SASCCS is opening its doors in 2017-18

Syracuse Academy of Science and Citizenship Charter School provides support, challenges and opportunities for students, and they will instill the necessary skills and knowledge in math, science, and technology to empower students through high intellectual standards, preparing them for college, career, and citizenship. The school seeks to graduate students who can think critically and creatively, who are committed to a lifetime of learning and civic involvement, and who are conscious of local, global, and environmental issues.

College Preparation

Aligned in every way with the school’s mission to graduate college-ready and civic-minded students, the importance of college readiness is understood very well at SASCS. Glocal Education

SASCS has a celebratory atmosphere, and promotes positive attitudes through quarterly recognition and rewards for academic efforts and citizenship evidence through certificates, gift certificates, and invitations to an annual Dean’s List Dinner for students and their families. More
